DAY 1: GUWAHATI AIRPORT/RAILWAY STATION – SHILLONG
(Distance: 130 kms. / Driving Time: 3.00 hrs. / Altitude of Shillong: 1,525 mts)
On arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, you will be transferred to Shillong, also known as “Scotland of East”. On the way visit Umium Lake. On arrival at Shillong check in at the Hotel. Rest of the day free for leisure.

DAY 2: EXCURSION TO MAWLYNNONG & DAWKI
(Distance: Shillong to Mawlynong – 90 kms. / Driving Time: 3.00 hrs.)
(Distance: Mawlynong to Dawki – 45 kms. / Driving Time: 1.45 hrs.)
(Distance: Dawki to Shillong – 95 kms. / Driving Time: 3.30 hrs.)
After an early breakfast you would be driven to Mawlynnong famous as “Asia’s Cleanest Village”. It offers many interesting sights such as the living root bridge and another strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another small rock. Later you would be driven to Dawki, a small town near India Bangladesh border. From here enjoy breathtaking view of the Umangot River. Evening you would be driven back to Shillong.

DAY 3: SHILLONG SIGHTSEEING – EXCURSION TO CHERRAPUNJEE
(Distance: One Way – Cherrapunjee – 70 kms. / Driving Time: 2.15 hrs. / Altitude of Cherrepunjee: 1,430 mts)
In the morning after breakfast, you will be taken for a day excursion to Cherrapunjee, one of the wettest places in world. On the way visit Elephant Falls and Dwan Sing Syiem view point for breathtaking view of the hills. On arrival in Cherrapunjee visit Noh kalikai falls, Nohsngithiang falls (Seven Sister falls), Mawsmai limestone caves and Eco Park. The water falls generally go dry in winter. Later you are driven back to Shillong. Evening free for leisure. You have an option of going for shopping at Police Bazar on own.

DAY 4: EXCURSION TO JOWAI
(Distance: One Way – Jowai – 70 kms. / Driving Time: 2.45 hrs. / Altitude of Jowai: 1,380 mts)
After an early breakfast you will be taken for a full day excursion to Jowai, a pleatue sorrounded on 3 sides by majestic Myntdu River. Here you will visit one of most magical waterfall – Krang Suri, Tryshi Waterfalls, Nartiang Monoliths, a cluster of monoliths which stand as a testimony of Jaintia rulers’ strength. Also visit the Nartiang Durga Temple, a 500-year-old Mandir. In the evening you will be driven back to Shillong.

DAY 5: SHILLONG – GUWAHATI SIGHTSEEING
(Distance: 130 kms. / Driving Time: 3.00 hrs. )
After breakfast check out from the hotel and get transferred to Guwahati. On arrival in Guwahati check in at the hotel. In the evening visit Tirupati Balaji Temple, Sankardev Kalakshetra.

DAY 6: GUWAHATI LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast, you would be visiting Kamakhya Temple, Nabagraha Temple, Umananda Temple, Assam State Museum (Monday Closed), State Zoo cum Botanical Garden (Friday Closed), Regional Science Centre and Sukreswar Temple (The 6th Jyotirlinga of Shiva). In between the sighseeing, you would also have an option of trying out Guwahati Ropeway (ON DIRECT PAYMENT BASIS). Evening free for leisure. In the evening you have an option of enjoying sunset River cruise over river Brahmaputra (Cruise is subject to weather conditions & availability, ON DIRECT PAYMENT BASIS).

Basic personal items to be carried include feather jacket & heavy woolens during winter and light woolens during summer, walking boots, Umbrella or rain proof jacket during monsoon, torch, spare batteries, water flask, cold cream, personal medicines & Sunglasses.
Advice guests to bring heavy woolens if traveling to Arunachal & Meghalaya as this area is cold throughout the year.
